How much does it cost to place an ad?

Listings are £9.99 each, and are active for 28 days. The price of listings are subject to change.

How long are listings active?

Listings remain active for 28 days once published. The active period begins after approval and does not include any time the listing spends in the 'pending' state.

How do I boost my listing?

Currently, it's free to boost a listing. To do so, click on 'Boost' next to the listing in the Manage Listings section of your account.

Listings can only be boosted once every 24 hours.

Do you support Markdown in listings?

Yes, we support a subset of Markdown in listing descriptions. Using markdown gives you greater control over the formatting of your listing.

We currently support the following items:

  • Headings
  • Links
  • Ordered lists
  • Unordered lists
  • Tables
  • Block quotes

You can learn more about the basic Markdown syntax on the Markdown Guide website. You can also use a tool such as Markdown Live Preview to preview listing content before you submit it.

Are you associated with any horsebox/trailer businesses?

We are not associated with any horsebox or trailer businesses. We are an independent platform without any affiliations.

Moving Manes is the operating name of Moving Manes Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

Do you offer a preferential rate to business users?

We're always keen to support registered, high-quality businesses. If you wish to place a listing as a limited company, get in touch via email or live chat.

Note: discounts cannot be applied post-facto.

Do your listing prices include VAT?

We are not currently VAT registered.

How do I contact customer support?

Our support team can be reached via multiple channels. Our preferred method is via email. However, we also support live chat, and Facebook and Instagram messages.

How do I report a listing?

If you need to report a listing, please send us a brief explanation, along with a link to the listing via email. We'll investigate the listing and take appropriate action.

How do I change my email address?

To change your email address, please contact support.

What's a postcode sector?

A postcode sector is a subset of a postcode. For example, given the postcode "SW1A 1AA", the postcode sector would be "SW1A 1".

We include your postcode sector in your listing to give potential buyers an idea of your location.

Do you plan to introduce...

Since launching in late November 2024, we've continually introduced new features and functionality, and we don't plan on stopping! Whilst we don't have a timescale, we've already got some new features on our radar. If you have a request, let us know.
